Blighted patterns are the most mystifying of them all, and it visibly shows as the dragons personality seems the most sporadic and uncontrolled. What creates the pattern isn’t apparent, but regardless their are a few speculations, the most common one being that the dragon was given either a poison or lethal potion in order to kill them, creating the strange liquid-like pattern across their bodies. Blighted dragons are the most unstable, known to change personalities nearly every day without them realizing. This can exhaust a Blighted Wight rather easily, making them rest more than others. These dragons need a lot of stability and consistency in their life, as constant change can make their emotions worse. They do however have a knack for predicting peril, whether it be a destructive lair nearby, what food is toxic or if the weather conditions are too treacherous to travel, they have a better chance of preparing than others, making admirable forecasters.
Drabble:
Nigiri was born in an Arcane Lair - as the heir of his clan's leader, he was hatched to be succesful. He was the brightest among his siblings, even though he was the last one to hatch. Under his parents's care, he learnt how to rule a clan, how to care for others - how to approach other clans, and, if needed, how to end a clan. So were his brothers though. And that's how he ended up thrown out of his den with a dagger on his back, wings broken and claws tied.

"So what are you, Reaper?" Nigiri whispered out in his last breaths - he knew he was gonna die soon, very soon.
"Kinda the opposite." the godly figure replied, hovering above the wounded dragon, standing tall and elite.
"What are you doing here then?" Nigiri asked.
"Saving you."
"Aren't you a bit late for that?" he asked sarcastically, being close to death hadn't changed his attitute a bit.
''I'm not.'' the figure replied ''The Castaway is never late.''
'So that's your name.' He thought to himself. ''Well, I hate - hate to break it to you, but you can't save me. I'm sorry, medic.''
''Oh!'' the Colorful dragon happily chimed. ''I'm not a medic, you silly. I'm more of a salesdragon, and I'm here to give you an offer.''
''Great.'' Nigiri grunted. The last dragon he'd see in his last moments was a dragon trying to sell him something. ''I'm dying, can't you see? What are you offering to a dead-dragon?!''
''Are you dying though?'' The Castaway asked him in a sly voice. ''Wouldn't you be dead long ago with that huge wound all over your back?''
That... Was true. He felt that he should've been dead, hours ago. ''What's going on?'' he asked, quite annoyed that he wasn't in control.
''I'm here.'' The Castaway replied. ''Simply, my presence is keeping you alive. But it won't be for long, unless, you accept the trade.''
''What trade?!'' Nigiri asked ''You keep talkin' 'bout your ooh, big trade - that's gonna save me but you never told what you'd take in return!''
''Something you wouldn't need in the afterlife.'' The Castaway replied with a cold voice. ''Don't worry, I don't want your oh so sarcastic tongue. All I'll have is your color pigments, in return of your life.''
"Nice try, demon." Nigiri hissed. He didn't trust that creature one bit. The deal was too good to be real - there had to be something that the other dragon didn't tell him about.
"Then die." The Castaway shrugged, stepping away from thr once respected prince.
As he did, all the sensations came back to Nigiri. Suddenly, he was in pain. Snarling in agony he yelled as loud as he could "Come back! I-I'll do the trade! Make it stop!"
