a wealthy spiral that resides in the city of crown's light. elan is the beloved announcer of the city's arena from which most of his wealth is earned. this arena is not meant to be confused with the one that's been overrun by beastmen

❖ about

simultaneously excellent, yet terrible at his job. cadenza would rather spend time strumming on his lute instead of work. ironically, dragging his feet while he was supposedly on the job has led him to become closer to his target and just gather more information in general

chaotic evil ≠ mindlessly destructive

- he's pretty chill, but he's not a very good person by society's standards
- bad at following the spy's code to a t, but he gets by
- definitely not above scavenging through anyone's possessions if he feels like it
- will only ever sing/perform covers for others, nothing personal
- rats. rats. we're the rats
- he keeps rats in his pocket, don't question it
- speaking of things in his pockets, there's a vengeful spirit in there too, no biggie

minty spends most of her time in cadenza's pocket and will poke her head out at the smell of certain foods. she's a soft and round friend.

elan

• the spiral has a habit of gifting away large sums of money to anyone he deems worthy aka cute
• cadenza doesn't know if he should be flattered by the fact that he's actually receiving such gifts from elan
• he's hot but also extremely weird and obsessed with bonepickers (like he's one to speak)
• 0/10 would not tango
• elan's much more sinister than he usually lets on, cadenza has to remind himself to always stay on his toes around the other spiral
• he runs an arena in his city that's pretty much its main attraction. dragons, beastmen and all manners of creatures are brought here to do battle for the crowd's entertainment

• so those rumours of another land were true; ryuto is a kitsune
• there are other types of kitsune out there and as fascinating as that is, this isn't what cadenza is here for
• ryuto is capable of performing blessings, but what these blessings are for is unknown
• luck, perhaps?

• cadenza seriously questions elan's taste in men
• apparently this "blakey" is part of an organisation called the blindsiders
• elan himself isn't affiliated with the blindsiders himself and is solely interested in this specific member
• the blindsiders themselves are located in the shadow region

• okay maybe elan's taste in men isn't absolute garbage, but the way elan treats tk is off-putting, to say in the least
• what baffles him the most is that tk allegedly showed up one day out of the blue
• in terms of raw physical strength, this guy's pretty hard to beat
• he also mentioned having a family, but cadenza hasn't found anything on them yet
• tk resides in elan's estate
