Drakon is the second son of Lilith and Samael. Since he appeared human at first they did not espect him to have demon genes in him. When his parents went separate ways, Drakon was taken along by his father. Samael taught him to despise demons and dragons and how to kill them efficiently.
However, after his teenage years Drakon's body changed and made him the first vampire – and the only vampire capable of magical powers. Unable to kill his own beloved son Samael sent Drakon away. Unsure where to go Drakon searched for his elder brother Atum and found him in old Egypt. Both brothers lived together for some years and renewed their bond, but they also noticed that their father and other humans started revolting against the growing demon population, as well as the dragons slowly going extinct. They agreed that it would be best to separate humans from demons and dragons. Drakon started to find allies for their plan while his brother stayed in his kingdom, but before they could detail their plan further Atum was killed by Samael. Drakon took it upon himself to confront his father. He told him about the plan to create a new land for the demons and dragons to separate them from the humans, but as he saw that his father would not change his ways and continue to murder demons, he killed his father. With his allies Drakon finally build the underground, a world directly beneath the human realm which was basically just an enormous cave. With magic they projected a sky and sun in the air, grew plants and forests to create a place for demons and dragons to live. The magical cycle was at first maintained by skillful magicians of the demons and later by Lilith herself. Most of the demons and all dragons followed Drakon in this new world and elected him as their king.
As he understood the powers of his own body Drakon began to turn the humans he trusted into vampires to gift them with a longer life and service to him. Especially his good friend and right hand Lex Erland became inextricably with his status as king and the ruling over the underground. He dedicated his life to the demon's wellbeing and was always surrounded by many advisories, one of them being Anubis.
After the death of his father he was nicknamed „Dracula“ (son of the dragon) by many demons.
Drakon reigned over a thousand years. Although his body was not aging, it began to decay slowly. Drakon knew that his body's death was inevitable and asked his friend Lex to seal his soul in an ring until he would find a new body to take over. Since Drakon despised the thought to take over a body forcefully, he knew he'd probably have to wait a long time for the right opportunity, and that even his soul would need constant blood for survival while trapped in the object. Lex was advised to hold on to this ring as it was able to suck blood from his wearer, passing it on to his children. Since he was vulnerable in this state, neither Drakon nor Lex told anyone what happened with the demon's king. Drakon's disappearance resulted in 157 years of war over his succession before the holy council was founded.
