Quiet, hiding among the stalks of the bamboo in hopes never to be found. Silence. You don't want to scare her like so many others have. If you look around slowly, you can see there's barely any light here, but in the small pockets that rain down onto the floor, you can see posted onto the bamboo are small drawings done by even smaller claws.
Lilypad has been the quiet and reserved one among her siblings, not charismatic or bubbly as her brothers and not as confident as her sister. She's often found alone in the stalks of bamboo, quietly sketching things on pieces of paper with chalky stones. She never tells anyone much about this place, in fact, she doesn't talk much at all. Perhaps, she likes to pretend to be a bamboo stalk, or, maybe, it's because whenever she does talk she stutters and has a subtle lisp. But even if we don't know the exact reason, we do know she loves bamboo, treating it as if it were a sentient being. She often visits her parents, seeking advice, comfort, or simply looking for White-Masked Dust Bugs, her favorite snack.
