Tengen is one of the friendliest dragons of the clan and sets the mood when he's around. He never holds grudges against others and is always ready to lend a helping hand.

He also cares deeply for his friends and wants to be by their side whenever they could get into trouble. The gentil dragon gets quite angry though when others get into situations that could get them injured or maybe even killed.

The big Ridgeback is kind of a "bachelor", always trying to get together with various female dragons of the clan. But usually, he has no luck...

It can be said, that Tengen is a very loyal soul, which is apparent in his friendship with the former leader of their group--Fawn--and now the two young dragons, Keahi and Halima. He is very loyal to them, trying to arbitrate between the two parties so things wouldn't go out of hand. One day he then joined forces with them to form their own Coliseum-Team.

During his adventures Tengen had seen many different places, met all kind of dragons... and other little creatures. That's when he had encountered his familiar, Rasa, in the Boreal Wood.....

Tengen was on another of his many adventures, traipsing through the Boreal Wood on his way to who-knows-where. He'd never been by this way before, and every tree and every turn of the path was new to him. The leaves above were filled with birdsong and shined with sunlight. Today was shaping up to be a wonderful day.

As Tengen walked, unbeknownst to him, a small Rasa watched from the undergrowth. It was intrigued by this huge dragon and his finely made clothes. Out of curiosity, the rasa began following Tengen, slinking along beside the path, hidden by undergrowth. It wanted to learn more about this unusual dragon.

Tengen stopped. What was that? That rustling beside the path? He turned to investigate but, seeing nothing, continued on his walk.

The rasa sighed in relief from behind a tree, then went back to following the dragon. How observant he was! Yes... this was a special dragon indeed. The rasa snuck as close as it dared to the dragon, carefully building up the courage to introduce itself.

Just as it was reaching out to get the dragon's attention, a huge claw scooped it up and before the rasa knew it, it was facing the reptilian eyes of the dragon. Tengen watched the little spy squirm in his grip.

"Have you been following me, little guy?" he asked. "What do you want?"

The rasa squeaked meekly, less afraid of his imposing glare than Tengen had expected. He deposited the rasa back onto the forest floor. "Go on, then. Get going." He shooed the little creature away, but instead of wandering off, it walked right up to him and began to purr in a way not dissimilar to a cat.

The rasa had a plan. It would follow this dragon, be its companion, and see the world! All the other rasas would be jealous that it had its very own dragon!

"What, do you want to come with me?" Tengen asked, looking down at the friendly, fuzzy thing. "Ok, let's go." Tengen smiled as the rasa let out a squeak of joy and happily trotted ahead, ready to begin its adventure. This was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Nowadays the gentile Maned Rasa and the big ridgeback share a very strong bond and are rarely seen alone.
