► ABOUT
A pretty dragon whose bright colors and soft, fancy clothes hide a will of steel. Though she is best known as the stage magician's assistant, Mana has many talents of her own. She is an accomplished hypnotist, illusionist, and dreamwalker. Nighttime transforms her into an entirely different being: She is the de facto leader of the Oneironauts and is responsible for organizing their hunts for Dreamdancers and other beings, including Shade fragments, who prey upon other dragons' nightmares. Her talent as an illusionist carries over into dreams, and she uses her skills to create worlds for her comrades to travel in -- or to deceive their foes.

The nature of her "night shift" means that dragons sometimes glimpse her in their own dreams. It was on one of these journeys that Mana found her foe, Ouroboros, assailing a young Nocturne's mind. Once Ouroboros had been chased off, Mana was surprised to learn that the Nocturne, Netanya, was also a dreamwalker, albeit an inexperienced one. The Pearlcatcher tracked her down in the waking world, and an agreement was reached with Netanya's parents: Netanya would be trained in the ways of dreamwalking, and Mana would recruit her in the fight against the Shade.

Other dragons occasionally recognize Mana from their dreams, but this is easily dismissed as her being seen at Flaumello's shows or on posters advertising his performances. She has great stage presence and even has fans of her own, but her clanmates find her intimidating and do not often spend time with her. This suits her just fine, for she would rather spend her free time catching up on sleep or honing her skills. When she is not helping Flaumello prepare or perform his shows, one can find her immersed in study and meditation. She has recently begun building a working relationship with the clan's healers, and is looking into using her dream-manipulating skills to help soothe patients while they are asleep.

Mana's own dreams are dark and deep. Clouds of smoke, tinged with deep reds or purples, can occasionally be seen. This is the base from which she launches other dreamworlds, warping the darkness into landscapes, the smoke into staircases. She often dreamwalks with fellow Oneironauts, but can also hold her own alone.

Flaumello | Business Partner, Friend
The kindly Flaumello took Mana on as his assistant, but he recognizes that she now has other duties to attend to. These are far beyond his abilities, and so he stays out of the Oneironauts' way, meeting Mana only for their stage shows.

Ecru | Associate
Mana has a great deal of respect for Nyx Coven's dream witch. Ecru has taught her some techniques to improve her manipulation of dreams, and she has also tutored other Dreamwalkers, particularly Netanya.

Legrasse | Colleague, Friend
Legrasse seems too hotheaded to properly focus on dreamwalking, so Mana usually accompanies him on their hunts. Despite not acting particularly friendly with each other, they have built a very good working relationship and can often anticipate each other's actions.

Netanya | Student, Friend
Having known her since childhood, Netanya looks up to Mana as a mentor and relies on her a great deal. She occasionally makes mistakes that need to be rectified, but Mana understands that she nevertheless has a great deal of power, and she looks forward to the day Netanya can lead her own fight against the Shade.

Khonsu | Colleague, Friend
Mana doesn't know much about spirits, and she is unsure what to think of Khonsu. She is hesitant to give him orders and instead prefers to leave him to Netanya.

Ouroboros | Quarry, Foe
This Shade fragment has nothing but animosity for the Oneironauts, with most of her hatred reserved specially for their ringleader. Mana is a dragoness of spirit, however, and is always ready to counter whatever Ouroboros throws her way.
