Biography

On the day a grieving necromancer cast a desperate spell within the Cairnstone Rest, the elemental forces of Sornieth surged with unheard-of power. Their ritual succeeded beyond their greatest expectations, awakening dozens of long-dead dragons from their peaceful rest, heedless of how long they had been deceased and even of how their bodies had long since turned to stone. From great warriors fallen in glorious battle and clan leaders who guided their clan for long years, to young dragons taken cruelly before their time and quiet souls who lived simply but well, all were given a second chance. They awoke in transformed bodies, with shimmering scales of quartz and siderite over bones of calcite and aventurine, with veins of hematite where their blood once flowed, and with souls renewed ready for a new life.
