Insomnia arrived at the inn, somewhat confused, but also curious; She's never seen or heard of such a place in Starwood Strand before, and briefly, she wonders what could be inside. The Wildclaw walked up towards the entrance in steady, confident strides. She sees what she assumes to be the Inn Keeper shortly after entering the inn.
Insomnia shrugged. More dragons meant less attention on her. The Guardian turned, and motioned for her to follow.

After spending a day slinking around the inn and listening to what the other dragons currently residing in the inn have to say, Insomnia believed she had an accurate picture of the inn she was currently staying in.
Apparently, every so often, dragons who get lost in Starwood Strand find themselves at the entrance of the inn, and if they leave before their stay at the inn is over (Whatever that's supposed to mean), they'll get lost forever in Starwood Strand, and won't be able to be found ever again.
Insomnia isn't sure what to make with this information, but she was certain that she didn't want to be lost forever in some dark, mysterious forest. So, the Wildclaw decided to stay put, for now.

Insomnia overheard some of the other dragons talk about one of the caretakers of the inn; Apparently, the local singer had somewhat of a reputation of being "vacant" and "creepy looking" among some of the other dragons. While Insomnia wasn't sure if these depictions were true, it did pique her interest; There was no concrete reason, per say. She was just curious and had the time to poke around.
After a while of snooping, Insomnia did find out that the singer- A Skydancer by the name of Mei- appeared to like frequenting the inn's small garden. Making a mental note of that fact, Insomnia retreated and decided that she would introduce herself properly to the other the next day.
28-3-2019
As expected, the Skydancer was lingering around the garden the next day as well. Insomnia acted nonchalant as she went up to greet her.
Insomnia nodded. She asked if the Skydancer was in the gardens often, even though she already knew the answer to it.
Insomnia nodded once more, though she was still confused. From their conversation, Mei seemed just like any other dragon minding their own business. So where did she get the reputation of being "creepy"?
Insomnia decided to poke around some more.

The next day, when Mei wasn't busy handling the hatchlings in the inn, Insomnia offered to help her with the garden. The Wildclaw was helping Mei with some of the plants when the Skydancer spoke up, rather abruptly.
Mei's statement had confused and surprised Insomnia greatly. Yes, she did handle some rather... delicate things, but how did the Skydancer know? Granted, she had been snooping around the inn... But she hadn't been snooping around that much!
As if sensing her internal question, Mei spoke again.
Insomnia nodded, unsure of how to reply, though she did gain some new insight as to why Mei had gotten the reputation she had; It must be unnerving to some dragons, to have the Skydancer know something about them without them telling her.
Insomnia received a gift!

Intrigued by Mei's ability to know something about a dragon just by looking at their mannerism, Insomnia asked the Skydancer more about it. They ended up spending the day lounging around one of the opening corridors of the inn, where they had a clear view of the small willow tree in the center of inn. The two dragons quietly observed the dragons that came and went around the willow tree, and though neither of them said anything, Insomnia realized what Mei had meant; She took note of one dragon who seemed as if she wanted to join the dragons gathered underneath the swaying tree, but was too shy to approach them. She also took note of a pair of imperial dragons who, at first glance, did not have much in common, but seemed quiet close with each other.
Insomnia looked at the Skydancer. So that was what the rumors were all about- It wasn't that the singer was trying to be creepy or unnerving to the other dragons at the inn. She was merely quiet observant.
That made Insomnia confused. She asked the Skydancer what she meant, but Mei had declined to answer.
31-3-2019
Insomnia noticed that the mist around the inn was beginning to clear. Making her way to the entrance, the Wildclaw noticed that the path in the woods had opened up to her. She could leave now, if she wanted to.
Turning back, Insomnia noticed Mei approaching her. The Wildclaw nodded, confirming the Skydancer's suspicions.
Insomnia thanked the Skydancer as she took the offered gift, offering a last goodbye before she headed back into the woods. Following the path, she soon found herself safely outside of Starwood Strand, just before the fog had picked up once more, engulfing the path from which she had came from.
Now... Where to, next?
