Venice was artificially created, a demon that was build from genes of Succubi and insects. The original intention of espionage, by creating an intelligent and controllable, small and easy overlookable demon, was soon destroyed by one error: Venice was not controllable. She ate her siblings, killed her creator and reproduced. Now her whole tall humanoid body is an avatar, build by the bodies of her daughters. Venice can disband the whole figure and hides her own self in a swarm of her hornet daugthers, making it nearly impossible to hit and hurt her.

Venice and Dominique are bound by a mother-daughter-like connection, that Venice feels since their first meeting. She cares for Dominique and acts as her right hand, keeping her safe and working for her as information gatherer. Her daughters are used to fly, lip-read and watch everything that might be worthwhile of knowing. All information is gathered within Venice, and she decides which pieces are important. Her ability of keeping everything she hears and sees is astonishing.
Like her children, her true body resembles the body of a normal hornet. As herself, her daughters are able to take a humanoid form, by using her sisters to create a bigger body.
Venice hates the color green and dislikes the whole holy council. However, she respects Anubis, who is a council member, and accepts him as her employer.
