 Rare eyes "Dragons with rare eyes are masters of transmutation. Some have command of several elements while others utilize their birth element in ways so flexible as to make fire run like water or wind carry the currents of lightning. While their strength and ability vary by individual, rare-eyed dragons are infallibly creative, clever, or wily, to the point that they are just as likely to get into trouble as out of it. With their ability to contort and transform their power, dragons with rare eyes find the test of contagion to be intuitive (if not easy) and are likely to pass, assuming they make it that far."

Mother's favorite; According to all, Alsace was special. A rare eyed child hatched during the plaguebringer's most sacred season could only be bound for greatness Unfortunately, the boy failed to meet all expectations. Alsace was physically weak, slight for a male of his species and awkward of stance. A childhood of being singled out for his potential had left him riddled with anxiety and neuroses, prone to odd nervous behaviours and constantly stressed. He was very devoted, yet oh so disappointing. In the end, it was no surprise that he would fail his trials, the overwhelming fear of failure sabotaging any chance that he would succeed. The unknown plague; A Pearlcatcher begins to show odd, unexplained symptoms. Itching scales, splitting headaches, burning flashes. His clan is puzzled, him even more. As his affliction becomes more extreme, others begin to complain of similar effects, the unknown plague spreading across the clan with no discrimination. Soon, the unrest is unable to be contained. The crowd is now frenzied and weeping, spasms wracking their bodies until they can move no longer. Nobody knows that it's all in their heads, a psychosomatic disease. Alsace creates mass hysteria, diseases that spread like raging wildfires, infecting through information. The symptoms are real, just as deadly, yet caused by no known physical ailment, sweeping across groups rapidly as effects begin to be reported.
