The Worst Crime
The voice tickles the back of his brain, little whispers, wrapped in a tongue that is not common to dragons, not heard since the First Age and the end of the Third Age.

It hums, buzzed, weeds its way into his thoughts. Adaeghor stops digging through shelves of bottles holding colourful concoctions and bones, head tilting at an angle before hit it hard against the shelf with a loud hiss, glass wobbling on it.

The voices were drowned out by the pain for a second before they came back roaring. The spiral twisted himself into knots, winding and unwinding out of sight, outside, away from those that took him in with open arms.

He returned with scales coated in a bloody sheen.

An addition to the clan brought in by Aedinius, Adaeghor is a native to the vile lands, and one of zero words. He is proficient at dark magic, often using his own blood as a medium; he has carved various alchemic runes and markings deep into scales, skin, and flesh. He is proficient in mending and creating ... and ripping apart dragons.

There is something clearly wrong with the Spiral; he oozes an aura that makes many dragons around him feel a chill run along their spine, his movements are unnatural and jolty, and he seems to almost drag himself along the ground when he's on it. When a dragon talks to him, he twists his head at an angle while watching them, and lets out garbled noises in response to words. Dragons do not know why he doesn't choose to speak, but those that have heard him say that it's like his voice worms its way into their ears, deep and ethereal, sound like it's a mix of voices from all species and genders. Others have said that his voice sounds soft and monotone for the most part, and they swore they didn't hear it come from him, never seeing his jaws moving.

He is another guide that accompanies the clan when they go out to scavenge the lands, often keeping a little ahead of the other dragons and emitting a red aura if it's nighttime to make sure no one gets lost.

Adaeghor is the kind of dragon who does not socialize, and he keeps to himself most of the time. He is not close to any dragon, and attempts to befriend him (mostly from Hideki, one of the few dragons that do approach him) usually end in awkward silence.

If he's not doing anything, he can be found tightly wound around one of the dead trees close to the mouth of a cave, staying as still as possible; that tree has been hollowed out and made into his home. He is definitely an oddity among the spirals—he is able to multitask a large amount of things and is constantly in motion during these times, but when he is not doing anything, he remains as still as stone in the same spot.
