A small dragon by all standards, the tiny Imperial is the once-nameless daughter of Glaucous and Bistre, both of the the Shifting Expanse. Accidentally carried away on the wing of a visiting dragon, the tiny Imperial woke up one morning on a piece of drifting ice in the Southern Icefields, thus beginning her life as a wandering orphan seeking her way back to a home she had barely known.
Fortunately, luck seemed to be on her side. As she stumbled through the land, chancing upon prey and berries whenever she needed them most, she learned to fly, to speak, to read, and to write on her own. She developed a strange sense of optimism, believing that despite the struggles, everything would eventually end up being ok. Her good fortune encouraged a curiosity toward all things, so she steadily took in the wonders of the world as she hopped from one clan to another during her travels. Barely anyone noticed the tiny, nameless Imperial, despite her cheery and enthusiastic nature.
She arrived in Altura on the night of one of the worst storms the Southern Icefields had seen in decades. Unknown to her at the time, her markings matched that of the forlorn patriarch of the clan, granting her protection from the chaos that then governed Kingdom Altura. Her inquisitive nature soon allowed her to see that the silent Guardian, Gorah, rightful king of the land, was suffering from an internal source of overwhelming pain. Deciding to stay and tend to his invisible wounds, the tiny Imperial kept herself busy by bringing about order and civility to the Kingdom with the help of other residence dragons that had long been fed up with the chaotic state of the land.
The other dragons had taken to calling the tiny Imperial "Corah," which was one small stroke short of the name of the king she so cheerfully tended to. The name stuck, and Corah she became. As Gorah slowly broke from his shell, Corah matured, becoming a just and wise Queen long before Gorah announced their betrothal. With her help, Gorah learned to enjoy the companionship of his familiar, brother to Corah's very own Golden Kitsune, Kin. Under her gentle encouragement, Gorah began to mend his once-tattered relationship with Wintermoon, his hatchling from his forlorn days, the last to still have ties with Altura.
An adventurer at heart, Corah enjoys roaming the land with Rowan and Alzena, constantly bringing back the wealth of knowledge to the Alturan Council, helping them sketch out the laws and frameworks needed for a better Kingdom.
