Goddess of all Seasons
Current Season: Summer

It started with feeling- a wish, born from a dream long ago, when the world was dark and still- a desire for change that grew as the stars exploded into existence and the planet took form. Life, after all, cannot begin without change. The gods of old gave this feeling mind and form- a goddess, with starlight in her eyes and the colors of sunrise in her hair. She was the youngest among them, the most curious, and devoted to her purpose- forging the changing of seasons from her own life energy, she brought life to the planet, and she was glad.

She continued the cycle of seasons, giving and taking away- in spring life bloomed, bursting forth from the starkness of winter; in summer it matured, heavy-hanging fruit ripening until it was sweet and flowers turning fragrant and beautiful to the sun; and in autumn it faded in a riot of color, returning once more to the base of all things- nothingness, but full of potential. The goddess wandered the planet as she guided the change of seasons, reveling in the ebb and flow of creation; she did this for centuries, watching the rise and fall of kingdoms and creatures alike.

She loved them all, deeply and truly, and found herself spending more and more time among the creatures that called the planet home. She took many forms, over time, but favored those that were fairly innocuous- small animals, inconsequential in scale and impact, easy to forget but treasured all the same. Eventually she settled on one form- a cat, delicate and quick-moving, and wandered the world, watching moral life flourish. They grew, matured, evolved, and eventually named themselves, the things around them, the planet itself.

Sornieth, they called it, and with their power it was made so. Different gods rose, far newer and weaker than those that had created her, but gods nonetheless, and as time passed they inherited the planet from the gods of old. Though her creators faded, she remained, elemental and necessary; she was noticed, and named.

Horae, they called her.

The dragons rose proud and powerful from their gods, and she walked among them with quick and quiet feet, a cool autumn's breath or warm summer breeze signalling her presence. They welcomed her, one of the few remaining gods that came from that time before, considered her presence in their clans and lairs a blessing.

Though she found herself migrating between lairs often, she eventually decided to create her own clan of dragons on the Mirrorlight Promenade; now more catlike than godlike, the blazing sunlight and warmth of the white marble keeps her enthralled and content, and the dragons of the clan hold her in high esteem and with much affection. Unwilling to roam as she usually did, she requested, for the first time, something from the dragons she lived with- a globe, magicked to mirror the real world, so that she may gaze upon Sornieth and explore without having to leave the comfort of her chosen home.

As payment for their gift, she predicts the weather for them, reading the change of winds and rains as easily as she moves the seasons, and is content.
