"Dragons with rare eyes are masters of transmutation. Some have command of several elements while others utilize their birth element in ways so flexible as to make fire run like water or wind carry the currents of lightning. While their strength and ability vary by individual, rare-eyed dragons are infallibly creative, clever, or wily, to the point that they are just as likely to get into trouble as out of it. Many of his and his mate, Glossina's, children have perished mysteriously before adulthood. Murmur's father has warned that it could be due to his "less than ambitious Service to the Plaguebringer"... Murmur has stopped showing up to festival family reunions, though is still inseparable from his brother and great friends with his sister. He runs into his mother on occasion on her journeys away from The Cell. They trade friendly eyes but avoid sensitive subjects...
