Reaper

As the sun rises over dew-laden trees on the outskirts of the city, even the shadows seem to regress and sink away from the ruins in fear. A dragon is to tread lightly should he desire to enter. Despite this, Reaper presses on without fear. Thick but swift footfalls trail carefully and steadily down a ruined staircase into the depths of the Hewn City Ruins. In the darkness, a mystery draws those who wish to uncover the deep, dense historical secrets that lie hidden beneath the fog.


It is here that he finds a single dragon sunning herself on a small patch of stone that remains untouched by the ruins' vile aura. She peeks an eye open. The glittering imperial is pleased to meet another warrior worthy of sharing their tales of battle with her. From here, he meets a close-knit family of dragons all living together under the ancient staircase to what was once surely a great temple. It sits in shattered ruins, a skeleton of its former splendor. The dragons who live here call this place the Sunstrewn Steps.


The clan of the Sunstrewn Steps is a humble one, obviously influenced by the likes of Shadows and Ice. Among their ranks are a group of powerful gaolers who sit peacefully to listen to Reaper as he shares his highest triumphs and lowest of defeats over a hot meal. Through the night and long into the next morning, they revel in his tales of glory. From him, they gain important knowledge of the nearby area. They now go forth knowing which ruins may hide glittering treasures to help them in their pursuits to honor their new deity, The Lightweaver. The clan turn their attention to the nearby Ghostlight Ruins.
