Sirel

They have a habit of sitting by the river and picking through the water-worn stones that wash down from the rapids above. Every so often the snake normally curled around their tail will perk up and nose at one particularly shiny rock. When that happens, Sirel collects it carefully in their claws and nestles it in their arms next to their pearl. None are hard enough to scratch it; on the contrary, the smooth, near indestructible surface of the pearl slowly evens out the stone even more. By the time they get back home, the chosen rocks are more perfect for little sneks to curl around in a basket. When placed together in the sun, the basket makes a wonderful spot to relax. A bowl filled with water also makes a suitable warming pool for relaxation purposes.
