Orion is a dragon who can interpret the stars and foresee fragments of the near future. He had a traumatic past he does not wish to ever talk about. He is an introvert; his hobbies are reading, writing and stargazing – hobbies that do not require interaction with others. Though he doesn't show it, he wishes to release a novel someday.

All these voices, echoing in his head. All these futures that he can see. He can never escape them, he can never rest. The whispers overwhelm him, rising to an unbearable clamour in his mind.

There is only one voice that soothes and comforts him. It is a quiet presence, a stable pillar for him to lean against. Orion leans into it-

A cry, tearing him from the inside and wrenching his soul. Orion struggles to make it stop, frantic with panic. Why was it crying?

It is suddenly cut short. A numbing emptiness wells up where the voice had once been. Where was it? Why was it silent? It had been a constant in his life. He knew what a silent voice meant.

Orion curled up into a ball on the cold marble tiles and rocked himself to sleep, letting his tears fall.
