Personal Lore

Oleander used to be a prized student who learned under the Arcanists direct mentorship.
He showed great promise to becoming an exquisite scholar, that is, until he discovered something he was not supposed to. With the knowledge he gained, he ascended and received his halo and new eyes. While normally, ascending is a wonderful occasion, the knowledge he learned drove him to madness. Before he lost himself, he bit off his own tongue so that he would not share his secret and curse anyone else.

He lives in the Tangled Wood now, covered in ick and rose thorns, with his once clean robes now shredded.
The clan he lives with tolerate him as long as it doesn’t look like he’ll be a threat to them. While his actions can be sporadic, he follows a loose rhythm of what his life used to be: staring into the dark abyss of the sky, his eyes more open than they ever had been, and also collecting herbs and plants for potions that won’t be able to brew due to how dirty all his broken materials are.

The Arcanist


He strove to be everything The Arcanist saw he could be, but you can never truly live up to a deities expectations. He saw The Arcanist as a father figure. The Arcanist pities what Ole has become, even tho he may have had a hand in it...

Durantis He recognizes this dragon barely, only knows him as someone he can trust. Before he went over the edge tho, he was a very, very, dear friend. If he were to ever come out of this crazed fog, he may confess his feelings for this dragon

Castor His relationship w Castor is odd. He had a brother named Castor and has traces of memories of him before he went mad, so he confuses his brother and this red Castor as the same dragon. He teases and torments Cas as if he was his own younger brother.

The Clan They don't know his name because he hasn’t been able to say it without his tongue, and the clan doesn’t really know how to read, so he can't write it out, not that he’d even have a moment of clarity to do so. They’d call him Ark, since that’s what he says the most, but he reacts badly and violently when they do.
