Mara was never really one for drama. Normal dragons are annoying, and most Dreameaters are overly psychopathic. Just eat the nightmares, and leave. The whole eating dreams and watching dragons sob sounded annoying to her. She didn't like watching dragons get emotional, and she was tired of normal dragons looking like a deer in headlights when she walked by. Her parents never understood. Her hatchmates never understood. Nobody ever understood, a Dreameater who things suffering is annoying? She just wanted quiet. Libraries are quiet. Iris's library is usually quiet. Good thing Ruby knows Mara will throw her pearl in the ocean if she's too loud (she has before).
