B I O G R A P H Y

______ Iris was once an orphaned girl who had little to live for, but she stuck it out, believing that something better would await her at the end of the road. She ended up with a group of priestly dragons, and she calmed herself that way. It was while she was there that she met a royal dragon, Rosabell. The two were friends at first sight, and they would often split away from their families and other friends just to play together. However, that peace didn't last.

______ The priests who sheltered her early in life were too extreme for Iris as she grew and began to understand what they were doing. Bent on purging everything wrong in a dragon to make the "perfect" being, the Skydancer couldn't live with that burden. Imperfection even existed in them; how could they do something so hypocritical? As time went on, she grew ever more distant from the more apparent cult-like group she had once called family. After they discovered that she was with Rosabell, they tried to "train" her even further, but she broke ties with both Rosabell and the "priests" before the situation could escalate further.

______ The isolation only made her grow stronger. Iris became a knightly dragon who became highly independent and selfless. But, she had a passion behind her blade, and that was the stage. She would dance upon a crystal stage with soft feet and gentle moves, all the while her sword refined her dance even further. She became the opposite of Rosabell, yet the two somehow ended up in Amalur together. These days, their relationship is fine, but the two have a pretty serious rivalry. While the Skydancers have had their chance to relive their childhoods, it's not uncommon to see the pair bickering as well. They've clashed blades on more than one occasion to see who was the dominant dancer on the stage, and whose show was better: the knightly blue rose that is Iris, or the queenly crimson rose symbolizing Rosabell. In spite of their rivalry, the two still hold deep respect for one another. If push comes to shove, they're more than willing to put their differences aside and use their swords to protect each other.
