Growing up, all the children of the dragons who operate a magical nuclear reactor (similar to the one that birthed the Arcanist, though nowhere near its scale) have to play with are spare parts, an assortment of tools, and, if they are lucky, a pool of contaminated coolant. Fortunately, due to their distant relation to the Plague Wastebug subspecies, what levels of radiation that would have killed a normal dragon long ago have little to no effect on them at all. It matters not what paths they eventually choose for themselves, all learn the laws of science and the rules of magic; as for what they will choose to do with this knowledge is a question only time will answer. |

Endes is one of the kindest dragons around, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need of it. Her friendly disposition would earn her many friends and willing allies, if only... Well. Thing is, Endes was born to a family of rather industrious dragons who operate a magical nuclear reactor, and her egg was exposed to lethal amounts of radiation when she was still in the shell, and Endes, unfortunately, reacted rather strangely to it. Long story short, her blood is more toxic waste than actual blood, her eyes glow in dark, and she kills everything she touches. It comes as no surprise to learn that Endes' childhood was a difficult one. Her parents still tried to love and nurture her as best as they could, but she was kept in isolation for the sake of the other hatchlings and therefore grew up rather lonely. Nevertheless, she's bright and warm-hearted, if a little blind to the nuances of social interaction. This world, unfortunately, is not kind to the innocent. Endes has only been taught never to trust strangers for fear that they might take advantage of her abilities while crushing the kind soul cursed with them. She has little experience when it comes to dealing with the outside world, and while she knows how to properly dispose of the scales and feathers she sheds as well as the substance she bleeds, she tends to give too much and ask for too little in return. She cannot be sheltered forever. Sooner or later, for better or for worse, someone (or something) will change her. Whether or not this experience will open her eyes or sew them shut is another matter entirely. | ______ |
