Luna

___A brilliant star, reborn as a dragon who retains some of their former light? A minor deity, struck down to Sornieth in a weaker form as punishment for crimes unknown? One who came here on their own schedule, on a quest nobody knows of? It's unclear which of these is the answer, if any at all. Luna certainly won't give a concise answer.
___She doesn't do it often, and thus the following has only been known as whispered rumors that nobody is quite sure of the truthfulness of it, but Luna can change form. For reasons unknown she usually remains as a dragonet - wishing to not be noticed by a higher figure? Finding it less of a toll on their energy to be smaller? Enjoying the fuss other dragons make over them, as if they were helpless? Simply liking it better? Perhaps. Prehaps not. To the knowledge of everyone who has spoke up, they've always remained a stardusted Coatl, which is again for reasons unknown.
___ Occasionally, Luna will simply vanish. For minutes, for hours, sometimes even days, they'll just... Quietly disappear. This used to cause Amethyst quite a lot of panic - and sometime still does - but it has happened so often with Luna always appearing again, acting as if the chaos they had caused in the hatchery wasn't important, and so by now she has gotten relatively used to Luna's disappearances.

"Oh yeah, she's probably a deity or otherworldly being or something. We just give her pillows and a place to sleep and she doesn't curse us."

• According to the Permababy registry, Luna was originally owned by Aschenstern, and then KiTea, before she came into my (LapisWing's) possession. Her "Date of acquisition" was 12/10/2018, her birthday, and her "Date of youth" was 12/12/2018, or two days after her birthday.
