His lungs whisper and wither with every breath. When he inhales he feels them strain, when he exhales they almost collapse. Somehow, he's not sure how, he keeps going. He can't fly anymore. He can barely glide. His wings drag along the ground - dead weight. Please, he thinks. Please. Someone. He knows what he is now. He can't not. Born and raised in the Plaguelands, he knew what it meant when he was left by the Wyrmwound, knew what it meant as the infection seared his flesh, he knew- It doesn't matter. He has to find someone. A Necromancer to kill or to cure him, a 'servi who might be able to take some of his plague and use it for something other than just letting it kill him- He's wandered far. One day he fell into water and he's no idea how long he floated - widespread wings holding him up - before he woke. He was too exhausted to notice. Too ill. Too sick with fever. He swam, some, and tried to guide his path. When he washed up on a pumice beach he just. kept. going. He had no option but. He hoped... He didn't think he had a right to hope, any more. But he hoped, nonetheless. ---- Day 4 - Toxin Myo's bones burn. They always do. He's almost used to it now, and with the spellbindings of the jewellery the Necromancers made for him he can bear the plagues that use his body as a resovoir with far greater ease than before. It does not stop the burning, though, nor the pus, nor the toxins in his blood and breath, so dangerous that only Pestilentia and Miasm with their sorcerous touches of wind, dare go too close when the poison flares up. For him... his flesh is ever toxic. Mentioned: Myo (Plagueborn Ghoul), Pestilentia (Plagueborn Necroservus), Miasm (Windborn Necromancer). ---- Day 14 - Virus "Myo." The voice is clear. "I have need." Myo sighs. Shifts. Lifts his head and his shoulders to stand. "Nosoi. What need have you?" The ridgeback's claws tap along the stone. "The hatchlings are ill. Something Kythera's spellcasts did not catch. A virus. And... you withstand all." He bows his head. "You are our pillar of plague. I need your cure and your curse." Myo coughs, a hacking thing. The plague pours from his mouth and his nostrils, a seeping smearing spread. Nosoi's claws find it before the binding spells on his jewellery can catch it, and she pulls it in, through skin and scale into blood and bone. She sighs, her ever-injured wings relaxing. "I see," she says. "Thank you, Myo." ---- Day 25 - Neutralized Sometimes, when the burden of the diseases he bears becomes almost too much, Myo thinks he should ask to be neutralised. He knows the service he does the clan, that he is a living archive of disease and infection, that he has the strength to bear it where others do not. His sores seep. His bones ache. Sometimes the muscle spasms send him twisting to the floor. It would, he knows, be easier to be neutralised. Safer. Better for him. But he attempted the Trials for himself, in his own hubris, in his own pride. He became a Ghoul because, for all his pride, he could not control it. The first time he found even an ounce of peace it was here, with this clan, his plague bound and his purpose redirected. It is not about him, anymore. It is about those he helps. He may want neutralisation, some days. But he does not seek it. RELATIONSHIPS |

Disease-library of the clan, his body is laced with a myriad varieties of plague which the Necromancers use for study. His anklets and collar are spelled to keep his disease contained to his body, and limit the damage it does to him, though he still suffers chronic pain.
