• TENSHU •
BLEAKFALLS CLAN COMMANDER
~ THE ILLUSTRIOUS GRAND GENERAL OF THE BLEAKFALLS WARRIORS ~
'Have you someone to protect?'
The leader of the Clan's Defensive Front, Tenshu is a veteran of many ages in the Coliseum. He has trained countless young drakes to fight to defend their home front and bring the spoils of war (food, materials, pelts) back to the Clan to make life comfortable for many generations to come. Honorable, but ruthless, his skills on the field of battle terrified his Clan mates more than it inspired them. His ability to forecast his opponents moves made his warriors wonder if he could get inside the heads of the enemy. It was rumored that his lust for victory put him on a path to become an Emperor Imperial, and many dragons met with the Clan Elder to request he be removed from the battlefield.
The other Clan leaders approached Tenshu, and insisted he step down from active warring and settle within the walls of the Barrow to instruct new dragons to go out and fight in his place. He reluctantly took the position, and trains dragons in the art of high efficiency melee. Young recruits are often startled by the grand dragon's appearance. His body is flecked with scars and deep wounds that healed poorly. Eyesight in his right eye is fading due to a hard blow he received from the alpha of a Winter Wolf pack in his glory days out in the Coliseum.
The first few days of life within the Temple were a fate worse than death for the aged warrior. He wanted to pass on the field of battle, not die an invalid within the safety of a Lair protected by his pupils. He would brisk through the halls of the grand temple in an attempt to escape his guards... he was too proud to be protected. He wanted to be the one defending others. Not the other way around. As fate would have it, one day he encountered the Clan's founder, Ariana Gladewing, when he shut himself away in a room to rid himself of his guards. He was awestruck by her beauty and grace. She rose to her feet and walked with such gentle footfalls he could swear she was floating.
"You must be Lord Tenshu, the War God I've heard so much about" she said softly. Not knowing how to respond he simply replied, "I am nothing more but a failed Leader. I am no War God. I am not even a warrior." She looked on, seeing beyond his scarred facade to see the sad Warrior whose mind has never left the battlefield.
"May I ask you a question?" she lowered her head to meet his gaze. "Would you do me the honor of being my personal guard? I know it is no glamorous job, but I would feel much safer knowing that I had someone with your upstanding reputation watching out for me."
His head snapped upright and the proposition and he narrowed his eyes slightly "I will take this job, it is the highest honor that I could possibly be offered." She smiled and turned around, her jewelry clinking as she padded back to the pile of cushions she was sitting amongst when he came into her chambers. "Come, have a seat with me won't you?" He turned immediately and walked to her, sitting in front of her. "No no," she said with a happy sigh "sit beside me, I would be much more comfortable if you were beside me. If it's not to inappropriate to ask," she said with a yawn, "I am tired, and I feel I would get better rest if I had someone to nestle into and watch over me when I sleep. Would that be okay with you?"
The shock had to be evident on his face. He wondered how, in such a short span of time, he could go from feeling so upset at his current state of being, to elated beyond words that he had become the Clan Leader's personal guard.... and she wanted him to look over her while she slept. It was such an honor that she trust him so much as to sleep within his protective grasp.
"Yes, my Goddess" he stated as he moved behind her, settling carefully into her back, ready to spring upright if she told him he was too close to her. Much to his surprise, her feminine figure pushed happily against his as she lay her head near his front legs. She closed her eyes and yawned once more, speaking softly before falling asleep "Please, call me Ariana."
He shadowed her everywhere. Whether it was dining with her, or sitting in with her meditation sessions the stoic Imperial sat strong. For weeks his protection detail took a strange turn as Ariana began to seek audience with him, speaking to him as though he were her friend... not just a body guard. The more he knew of her, the more he fell hopelessly for her. His gruff demeanor faded and he looked upon her with a softness he never expressed before.
Not long after that, the two became closely bonded. He found his peace in her, and she found her strength within him. They are truly the Clan's most balanced mates.

BLEAKFALLS CLAN COMMANDER
~ THE ILLUSTRIOUS GRAND GENERAL OF THE BLEAKFALLS WARRIORS ~
I want to change the world
If you accept my gaze as I watch over you
and don't let go of my hand, I can do anything.
Change my mind
I won't let you be alone. Everyone is here.
Let's pierce our way through whatever may happen.
It's wonderland
