Biography
Noemi
Princess of the Night
Uh-oh, looks like this (dragon descriptor, ie colourful noodle) wandered a little too far from her home lair (310371, QueenRed), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful! Owners I've Had: (put your lair/username here) QueenRed | 310371 Tacocat | 18749 |
Born during the longest night of the year, Noemi opened her blue eyes to peer around the room. The King stared down at her before raising her above his head and proclaiming that she would be the one to rule after him. She cooed slightly as he lowered her and pulled her closely. "My sweet child, shall you only know the darkness in which you were born, the darkness that keeps us safe." Days away from being five and she was stumbling through the forest, hiding from her uncle Ebrill. She began running, stumbling over tree roots. She had finally lost Ebrill when she tripped over a tall, thick tree root and fell forward, falling into what she assumed was a small mud puddle. She began squirming, trying to free herself but only seemed to be pulling herself further into the mud. She noticed a stranger not far away and cried out to him, "Sir, please, can you help me?" she started flailing again, sinking lower into the dark puddle. "Calm down little one, I'll help," he replied, hurrying over to her. It had grown dark by the time he managed to pull her from the mud. "Noemi? Where are you?" Ebrill's voice called. "I'm here Uncle Ebrill!" she called back. He appeared in the brush line, wearing his brown checked cloak before rushing over and throwing his arms around her. |

Noemi much preferred to travel at night, but when she reached the Starwood Strand, part of the Starfall Isles, she found it much to bright for her liking. Above her, the flowers of the trees glittered as if they were the stars themselves. While most dragons would likely be lost in the glow, she knew that she had to be on her guard still, for anything could happen.
It was a good thing too. Just as Noemi drew her eyes from the starlight, a fierce looking nocturne burst from the trees, growling viciously. For a moment she was startled, but she stood her ground, making herself look as big as possible and growling back. To her surprise, the nocturne laughed and said he was impressed. He introduced himself as Tigrinum and explained he thought she was a threat to the clan, but he could see she was not.
This brought down Noemi's spirits a little bit, but for a few days Tigrunum agreed to take her under his wing and teach her a thing or two about how to defend herself. After doing this, he gave her a cloak that he said belonged to the warriors of his clan. Noemi went on her way a few days later, confident she could defend herself from at least the weaker threats.
