Biography
Maahes, the desert royalty, is a dragon with a fiery temper of a stereotypical Fire individual. Yet, she is just as bright, scholarly and tactical as a Light dragon. Still a very kind individual who channels her passion into turning her home into a better place for all residents, big or small, farmer or royalty. Coming from a rich family of gem and resource traders, she is not nearly as eccentric or greedy as one would assume. Her relations with her family were not the best, as she would frequently quarrel with them after helping the poor or hanging out with farmers and the like. While other family members preferred a more private, extravagant and rich life away from other classes, she always wanted to share her family's resources with others. After legally inheriting a part of the wealth and resources, she decided to leave her family and use her financial expertise to aid the ones less fortunate. As an educated and resourceful individual, she always thinks ahead, making sure her new home village is as big of a home for anyone else, just as it is for her. She still writes to her family, hoping they might change their ways one day but currently, it has been to no avail.>is very sensitive to alcohol so she can't drink much before she gets too drunk, although she's hilariously clever when intoxicated >known as the Lady of the Desert Hail Kneph, you have not gone, behold, as one dead, you have gone as one living to sit upon the throne of Neb-Ertcher. Re-Atum, thy son is coming to you, Kneph is coming to you – thy son is this of thy body forever. Atum, thy son is this Usir; you have given their sustenance and they lived; they lived, and this Kneph lived; they did not die, this Kneph did not die. You set Kneph in Ament. They have eaten the knowledge of every god, their existence is for all eternity and it is everlasting in this sah; what they willed they did, what they hated they did not do. Live life, you shall not die. You shall exist for millions of millions of years, a period of millions of years. I am Shu of unformed matter. My soul is Kneph, my soul is eternity. Soul to heaven, body to earth. Your essence is in heaven, your body to earth. Heaven has your soul, earth has your body. Rise up thou Kneph. Stand up thou mighty one being strong. Sit with the gods, do that which Usir did in the great house in Annu. You have received your sah, your foot shall not be fettered in heaven, you shall not be turned back upon earth. Hail to thee, Kneph, on this thy day when you are standing before the Sun as it came from the east, when you are endued with your sah among the souls. Their duration of life is eternity, their limit of life is everlastingness in their sah. I am a sah with its soul. Washed is your ka, your ka sits and eats bread with you unceasingly forever. You are pure, your ka is pure, your soul is pure, your form is pure. Behold Kneph who comes forth on this day in the exact form of a living soul. Their soul is in Kneph. Your soul stands among the gods. Hail this Kneph. To you came the eye of Heru, it spoke to you. To you came your soul which is among the gods. Your soul is pure among the gods. As Usir lived, and as the soul lived in Netat, so lived this Kneph. It placed your soul among the greater and lesser cycles of the gods in the form of the uraei which are on your brow. Behold this Kneph, your soul is the soul of Annu, behold your soul is the soul of Nekhen, behold your soul is the soul of Pe, behold your soul is a living star, behold, among its brethren. Let not be shut in my soul, let not my shadow be fettered, let the way for my soul and for my shadow to be opened, may it see the great god. You have plucked your eye from yourself, you have given it unto yourself to strengthen yourself therewith, that you may prevail with it among the khu. May your sekhem come to you among the khu. Your sekhem is pure among the khu. You are pure, your ka is pure, your soul is pure, your sekhem is pure. Great sekhem, sekhem among the sekhemu. Happy is this Kneph with their name, this Kneph lived with their ka. |

May the gods grant that I go into and come forth from my tomb, may the Majesty refresh its shade, may I drink water from my cistern every day, may all my limbs grow, may Hapi give unto me bread and flowers of all kinds in their season, may I pass over my estate every day without ceasing, may my soul alight upon the branches of the groves which I have planted, may I make myself cool beneath my sycamores, may I ear the bread which they provide. May I have my mouth that I may speak therewith like the followers of Heru, may I come forth to heaven, may I descend to earth, may I never be shut out upon the road, may there never be done unto me that which my soul abhorred, let not my soul be imprisoned, but may I be among the venerable and favoured ones, may I plough my lands in Sekhet Aaru, may I arrive at the Aaru of Peace, may one come out to me with vessels of ale and cakes and bread of the lords of eternity, may I receive meat from the altars of the great, I the ka of the prophet of Amsu.

Relationships
>very close friends with Uatchit, used to be indebted to her but after a while they got things sorted out and became much closer than before>always had that some sort of romantic tension between them and now I am really compelled to put her into a polyamory with Uatchit and Nekhbet, we'll see >okay fine, I'm inserting some romantic history with her and Uatchit, that's it >her and Uatchit teamed up with a whole bunch of other people of rebel power >has known Sofh and Hebs for a very long time, got introduced to Sukati who is a very experienced and well-read elder, so they work together to lessen the impact of the oppressive regime that's spread throughout the desert >Nebet Anemit is basically her occasional henchman >she also has connections with Heri-Ta regarding land distribution, and with other royals such as Nefrit and Uatch-Ur >is very good friends and coworkers with Khesbetch and Heri-Akhu-t with whom she sells and trades her Lapis and precious minerals, although she frequently quarrels with Heri because she overvalues her personal comfort and wealth, which is something Maahes doesn't appreciate >also has good relations with Hapi and Usten who provide food and oil |
