Sixir

Humble fisherman and local Tempestarius, or Weather Mage. He predicts coming storms and sings up protection against hurricanes; cannot prevent bad weather, but can give ample time to prepare for it. An excellent reader of atmospheric pressure, wind direction, and cloud formations, even without using his magic.

Lackadaisical and cheerful to an almost unbelievable degree, he is nonetheless a wildly powerful Mage who really comes into his own whenever he pits himself against a particularly nasty storm. Although it does look like he's enjoying himself while doing battle with, say, a hurricane, he is quite serious about his responsibilities and knows that to err is to put his entire town in serious danger. He can play around, but no one else can, nor are they allowed to distract him while he's working.

Is aware of a force somewhere outside the town that is capable of very minor changes in the weather. Is also aware that this force is not malevolent, nor is it necessarily being done on purpose; he is only mildly interested in it as it poses no real threat to him or his own.
