Biography
Venus (Sleeping At Last)
The night sky once ruled my imagination
Now I turn the dials with careful calculation
After a while, I thought I'd never find you
I convinced myself that I would never find you
When suddenly I saw you
At first I thought you were a constellation
I made a map of your stars, then I had a revelation
You're as beautiful as endless
You're the universe I'm helpless in
An astronomer at my best
When I throw away the measurements
Like a telescope
I will pull you so close
'Til no space lies in between
And suddenly I see you
Suddenly I see you
I was a billion little pieces
'Til you pulled me into focus
Astronomy in reverse
It was me who was discovered
A billion little pieces (Like a telescope)
You pulled me into focus (I will pull you so close)
Astronomy in reverse ('til no space lies in between)
It was me who was discovered
A billion little pieces (Like a telescope)
You pulled me into focus (I will pull you so close)
Astronomy in reverse ('til no space lies in between)
It was me who was discovered
A billion little pieces (Like a telescope)
You pulled me into focus (I will pull you so close)
Astronomy in reverse ('til no space lies in between)
Then suddenly I see you
Suddenly I see you
My first g1 I've ever hatched, NotN bab that Shadowmom blessed me with. XYY Phthalo/Midnight gal, I love her so much. Picked in the Prettiest Dragon Above You thread three times!
Rakasa jumps dimensions through tears in space created by Ryuku. Whenever the dream thief pulls objects from dreams, it creates a tear in space for Rakasa to jump through. These tears are not bad, however. In fact, without them the world would collapse in on itself from all the pent up energy. It's Ryuku's job to create the tear, and it's Rakasa's job to patch it up afterwards and travel through the dimensions.
Rakasa was only half awake when she was pulled through the seams of the universe. This wasn't ideal; lack of focus when dimension jumping can really upset a dragons stomach, but it seemed she didn't have a choice. The tear opened up in the middle of Ryuku and Rakasa's den, pulling her and a book or two through before the Nocturne had time to react.
There are three rules when it comes to jumping dimensions. The first: always be ready. Rakasa had dealt with espazio malkoak enough to sleep with her dream orbs and a satchel tied tight around her waist, but there isn't much one can do in situatons such as these. Espazio malkoak are strong, and they take as much as they need without asking permission first. If something was taken from them, they decide it's alright to take back. Rakasa wondered what Ryuku had taken this time.
The second rule: always know where you are and where you've been. Getting lost between dimensions is the worst thing that could happen to a dragon, and this made Rakasa's current situation less than ideal. She knew how to get to Elysian like she knew how to cook, and that was saying something. The problem was that you can't go back without knowing where you are. Dimension jumping had always reminded Rakasa of a maze, and that was one of the reasons she loved it.
The third rule: Do not, under any circumstances, travel with another being.
Rakasa held tight to her satchel as she tried to stop spinning. Wings stretched wide, she attempted to slow her tumbling, but to no avail. The darkness was pulling at her from all directions. She was lost in a space between time, between worlds, and she couldn't get out. The sarari tsalle reached inside of her soul, grabbing at the essence of the Seraph Orbs and molding their power. The dream energy could only be accessed inside of her mind, but it was as real as the fog that enveloped the Tangled Wood. But there was too much space for the Nocturne to fill. The divide was huge, and it was going to consume her.
But then Rakasa saw a flash of huge, gnarled horns, and felt furry paws and somewhat sharp nails encircle her. Immediately, her spinning stopped and she could breathe again. She closed her eyes and tried her hardest to force back the pain in her head and focus on what was happening. Rakasa could feel herself moving through the Fold but couldn't figure out which way she was going. All she felt was fluff. After what seemed like a minute but was probably closer to an hour, Rakasa felt the tickle of the tear brush against her. Snapping open her eyes, she found herself falling quite speedily towards the floor of a cave. But before she hit the ground, that same ball of fur and horns swept beneath her in an awkward, unnatural way. It was this creature that ended up hitting the cavern floor, and Rakasa landed on top of it with minimal injuries (besides her massive headache and probably broken wing).
Ryuku had a lot of explaining to do.

Ryuku had a lot of explaining to do.
-Too many tears will lead to collapsing as well, so Rakasa patches them up
-Draws energy from orbs in Seraph jewelry?
-Orbs somehow link to dreams, like the dreams create energy?
Note to self: Check Grape's lore for dream energy orb idea
- The energy in the orbs almost creates bridges. Bridges in the Void, the space between different dimensions. When dimension jumping you have to go through the Void, and it will consume you if you don't have enough dream energy to create a "bridge" to the dimension you are going to.
