Tefnut is the eldest daughter of Atum and sister of Tefnut, Sachmet, Hathor, Bastet and Schu. Her mother is not known. Tefnut grew up in peaceful Egypt, where her father was worshipped as pharaoh.

Tefnut loves adventures and fights since she's a little girl. She was taught how to fight, but soon humans were no challenge anymore. So Tefnut began to teach her little sister Sachmet how to fight, raising her as her sparring partner. Tefnut loved wearing colorful clothes, especially with a lot of patterns. It made it harder for her opponents to read her movements during battle. She was able to use fire magic.
Her seek for adventures finally dragged her away from her family and she started exploring the world, traveling for hundreds of years – sometimes accompanied by her children – and only visited her siblings occasionally. She always was in close contact with her brother, with whom she also had children, and her sister Sachmet, while she always had a hard time getting along with Bastet and Hathor.
When her siblings moved to the newly created demon world, she left the human world as well. She continued traveling, though, never stayed long at one place, seeking for opponents to test her strength and demons and dragons she found interesting.
But the peace of the demon world was wavering when her uncle and demon king Drakon disappeared. Tefnut feared the rising conflict between dragons and demons, as well as fights for the title of king.
She met her siblings and agreed to help Anubis in his efforts to ensure peace.
Tefnut was killed in the war after Drakons' disappearance.
