Ambrose is the clan undertaker. Dirty work, yes, but it's a very necessary job. Many folk live in and around Clan Flygefisk, and when they die, they need to go somewhere. They do may jobs- graveyard caretaker, casket builder, funeral planner, gravedigger. Many folk in town are at least a little frightened of them- they're imposing after all, with their brusque nature, their large stature, and their many milky eyes. Their business is gladly only rarely needed, and no one likes needing them, but they're liked by the people they care about, and really that's all they want.

Between their upbringing, their career, and their mate, they have a very practical view of death- tragic, of course, but necessary, in the long run, and hey, it's a paycheck. This view does not help their strained popularity. They're usually very quiet and stoic, a vague frown on their face, their eyes unreadable. Though they tend to be gruff, they're really quite gentle, especially to children, especially at funerals. They met Cathartes while visiting the clan, and fell head over heels. Their shared interests, as morbid as they are, drew them together. They dote on her, and on her apprentice, Tobias.

Ambrose doesn't like talking about where they came from. The already quiet dragon folds into themself when one asks, muttering something about bone priests and scars. They do enjoy talking about their magic. They had very little as a hatchling, only really learning to use it as an adult when they joined the clan. They're nearly blind, only able to see properly out of one eye, but their magic lets them essentially scry with the rest. They can 'see' for miles, brief shots of areas before moving on to the next. They train most on the graveyard, as they're quite protective of it.
