Star Deity #1 (The Sapphire Deity) - The Gifted - Glowing
His Story:
It started with the birth of a dragon.
The star was old, turning rusty with the age of her adventures. She knew that soon it would time to leave this existence. As a last journey, she decided to sweep the galaxies and pay farewell to all of her dearest companions - those known as the Star Deities.
She was on her way to her dear friend, a younger star called Bellatrix, when she heard the plea of a despaired mother. The mother was praying to the stars, demanding answers to the injustice which have befallen her. Death had claimed the life of her only hatchling. Struck by the unfairness of the situation, the old star halted her stride to look upon the lifeless body cradled in the arms of the grief-stricken mother. Knowing the joy of birthing a child, she built up the last of her fading powers and laid a kiss on the hatchling's head - imbuing him with the last of her lifeforce and gifting him with the powers of the stars.
Thus it exploded with the rebirth of the' dragon.
Constellations of stars sprung forth on his body, and the heat of the sun filled his core. His mother stared in shock at the life filling her lost son's body. And when he opened his eyes, the white scorching light of a new born star shone upon his mother like a true beacon of hope. It was when he spoke, that his mother knew what his new name would be:
Vega - named after the weaving girl - the deity who weaved herself into the life of a young dragon.
