Q: Can I ping you?
A: Yes, if you're speaking to me. If it's a mistake or I'm not interested I'll simply delete the notification. I don't find it a big deal.

Q: Do you accept private messages?
A: Generally, yes. Whether or not you'll get a reply is another thing.

Q: Do you accept friend requests?
A: I no longer accept friend requests from strangers. I'd rather it come about after speaking to each other first.

Q: OK, so I ended up on your friends list, why don't you ever talk to me?
A: The short answer is mental illness. The long answer is also mental illness.

Q: We talked before. Don't you remember me?
A: No, and not to be rude, I just have severe trouble remembering anything due to mental illness.

Q: Why do you go weeks-months without replying then reply a lot with in a short time frame? Or never reply at all?
A: Three times the charm, but would you believe it, it's also mental illness... If I never reply its because of mental illness and not because of you.

Q: You said some kind of nonsense.
A: This is a byproduct of my phone autocorrecting normal words INTO typos.

Q: Why did you delete the comment I left your profile?
A: The comment was either a now-irrelevant egg count from a nest rental, or if it wasn't, then it was an accident.

Q: You don't seem very nice and bring up mental illness too much.
A: I'm sorry you think that. This is something uncontrollable that affects the way I live, think, feel, and interact with others. If you think I'm coming off as mean, I am just tired and depressed.

Q: Is (insert any dragon) for sale/trade/stud/whatever?
A: Sorry, no. Dragons that I want to part with will be on the AH already or in my sales tab. Dragons on the last page are fodder, so if you want one let me know before I train it. Please don't ask for dragons outside this tab anyway, mail of this nature will be guaranteed ignored.

Q: Can I buy (dragon on the AH) for the other type of currency?
A: Yep, if a dragon I'm selling is for gems and you want to pay treasure or the reverse, just mail me and ask. You can split payment too.

Q: Why did you buy my dragon and relist it on the AH for way more currency?
A: Normally I don't "flip" dragons. If I've done this to you, it's because your dragon is considered old and I've relisted it under Galopa's Old Oaks pricing to prevent it from becoming exalt fodder. If you're thinking "my dragon wasn't priced that low" the dom battle that inspired me to save old dragons spiked to about 20g/kT so yes, it was priced that low. You're welcome to buy back your dragon at what you sold it for if you want to price it higher yourself. Save old dragons!

Q: If you're not an exalting lair, why did you exalt the dragon you bought from me?
A: So, token "my dragon now I can do what I want" aside, sometimes, no one will rebuy the dragon in question from me. If I can't get it to sell, I'm getting rid of it the only other way I know how. I cannot stress this enough: If you want to do buy-backs on a dragon I bought from you, please let me know ASAP after I bought it.

Q: So, if you're not an exalting lair, do you participate in Dom at all?
A: Nope, not really. I don't have an interest in dom, leveling, training, buying, or doing anything with fodder. I breed my own fodder to train during fests to get currency, but I do usually save them up to exalt the week before Starfall, just for the spirit of things.

Q: Can I give you a random gift dragon?
A: I would really prefer if you didn't.

Q: Can you give (unnamed dragon) a name?
A: Yes, eventually. I name all dragons but it can take me a while to think of the perfect one.

Q: Can I like your dragons or comment when your dragon is the front page random dragon?
A: Yes to both.

Q: Can you like my dragons?
A: Yes if you specifically ask me to. I have a really bad memory and forget to do it on my own.

Q: Your lore is all over the place. Do you live in a cave or a city? What's going on?
A: Mental illness will ensure that I never get everything updated, but yes some things are outdated. My clan used to live in a cave inside the Crystalspine Reaches, and now we live in a city on a floating island in the Hoverview Vale.

Q: Your dragon bio codes are all over the place.
A: I get indecisive and change my bio layouts a lot. Like many other things I can't keep up with, I can never change them all over before moving on to the next one.

Q: Can I buy lore/have free lore/connect with your lore/RP dragons/anything else lore/writing related?
A: No, I don't really like interacting in that way nor do I have the energy for it.

Q: The link to one of your dragons' theme song is broken / the video is unavailable, etc.
A: Please tell me if you notice this so I can fix it, thank you!

About Me Call me Luck. I am an adult over 25 and go by he / him pronouns. I am FRT+3 or EST, so I'm usually asleep during rollover. I always remain on-topic of Flight Rising and watch my language and etiquette, but if you're a minor who just doesn't want to talk to me because I'm an adult then please prioritize yourself. Generally I'm not much for conversation, may not respond to messages, and I do not accept friend requests anymore. I lurk in Dragon Share and sometimes FR Discussion, and occasionally post. That being said, I am ping friendly so please ping me if you want me to see your reply, even in threads I own. I joined as Arcane on October 13th, 2014, back when registration windows were a thing. I didn't play very actively for several years. I'd feed my dragons and gather fest currency and make sure to get 1 of each fest item but that was it. I returned and started playing very actively in August 2018! I have never wanted to change flights, though I love all flights. I am Plague-friendly, especially during RoR. I like all dragon breeds and my current favorite breed changes often. This is not an exalting lair. I do not buy dragons for the specific purpose of exalting them. I exalt my own hatchlings. Sometimes things don't work out or I lose interest and months to years later I may exalt a dragon I bought. Recently purchased dragons that I change my mind about, I try to rehome/resell first. If you're interested in buy-backs please let me know ASAP after I buy a dragon. Dragons for sale are already on the AH. My other dragons are not for sale, adoption or open to breeding requests to anyone other than the mate I have designated, so please do not ask. This is because even though I'm not good at writing, I love doing my dragon lore. I tend to write way too much (2k-5k words each) to the point where I know no one else reads it but me. But if you're for some reason interested, there's a link to my lore hub on my profile. I'm also open to questions about it. My dragonsona (the dragon on this page) was born on my real life birthday, in my own nesting grounds. At first I wanted to keep the other hatchling who was obsidian/cottoncandy/black as that's the exact color combo I wanted, but I realized how lucky it was to have a birthday primal so I kept this one. This was before the eye vial update and this dragon is a natural born primal. His parents were a fae and guardian, and he was born a fae. My favorite pose is the female pearlcatcher so I quickly used a breed change after hatching. It stayed this way for a few years but my dysphoria has reached its limit with this and I finally bit the bullet for a silhouette scroll - despite the fact that I hate the male pearlcatcher pose! Though he wasn't born a pearlcatcher, getting his pearl early on means he'll have a lifetime with it. No matter if I decide to breed change again my dragonsona will carry his pearl with him. While the chance of primal eyes may have had their value reduced to vials, it has not reduced the personal value this dragon has to me, and I still think it's really amazing that I was lucky enough to hatch my dragonsona as a primal on my birthday.
