Runs a snow cone stand


Know what's great about being an ice dragon in a tropical jungle? You're in the perfect position to capitalize on everyone's need for cold, refreshing snow cones! Ziva runs a little snow cone stand year-round in her tropical lair, sourcing most flavorings straight from the jungle. For the plant eaters, she sells ices flavored with fresh-pressed fruit and berry juices, for the insect eaters... well, she removes the legs, for the seafood eaters she prepares the flavors in a separate room for the smell, and for the meat eaters, she usually flavors the ices with chilled meat and bone broths.

Unusual flavor demands aside, she genuinely loves the little niche she's carved out for herself in the clan. Initially, she was worried that her ice abilities wouldn't be much use in a tropical lair, but she couldn't have been more wrong. The first time she made snow cones, it was just for herself and Lunar, who she was starting to date at the time. She wanted to impress him, and impress him she did - he went around the whole clan talking about how good and refreshing her frozen deserts were.

Initially, Ziva was worried that her ice abilities wouldn't be much use in a hot, tropical jungle. She couldn't have been more wrong. The very first time she made snow cones in the clan was for herself and Lunar, who she was starting to date. She wanted to impress him - and impress him she did. He told everyone he ran into the next day about her delicious and refreshing iced deserts. After being swarmed with endless requests for snow cones, she ended up opening her own stand.

She uses her ice magic to make the shaved ice for the deserts. There's a big rain barrel attached to her lair, which she will purify the water from, and freeze it into snowy flurries. It's snow cones made with actual snow flakes!

She and Lunar did eventually become mates, and she will often bring him a little fae-sized snow cone snack when he's deep in the middle of hypothetical space flight calculations. Her personality is generally dainty and persnickety, which is funny given what she goes through to create the seafood and meat flavors for the ices.
