Just outside of the clan's borders, there's a massive field of spathiphyllum. On the edge lives Alaska in a little cabin. This is his garden, and he is utterly devoted to it. He keeps his distance from the main village, preferring not to engage with other dragons until they approach him for his services. They come far too often these days, he thinks, and bring mostly beastclan and exalted soldiers. He doesn't understand how a clan of librarians can be so warlike. Alaska believes life is a gift from the Gladekeeper. When a creature dies, Nature should be allowed to reclaim her gift and pass it on to new creations. Each flower in his field grows from a grave, and, to him, they are manifestations of the souls of the departed. Sometimes he hears them whispering. The membranes of his wings gleam like church windows. His paws are rough and calloused from digging so many graves.
