Lore I wrote to get Bear!
Bear's eyes fluttered as he came to. His ears still ringing. The air was still hazy from the explosion. Barely managing to lift his head and look around, he saw his sister, not too far off. Scrambling for her he barely made it over to her before He crested the horizon. Bear banged his head to the ground. It may have hurt, but he'd rather be hurt than dead. He heard the click of talons on stone as He came nearer. Bear stilled himself and breathed in as lightly as he could. He felt his leg kicked. Hard. The evil dragon laughed. The sound was harsh and cruel. "See if the others are still alive," He rasped in a gnarly voice. It scraped against Bear's ears and made him want to curl up into a hole and stay there. It sucked away hope and love. He waited till the dragon moved on to other victims of the explosion and looked at his sister. Her eyes fluttered open. Their beautiful green caught his and he was sucked away into a whirl of love and hope and beauty. His sister's love for him was so fierce it made him want to cry and laugh and yell out all at once. The clicking started again. Bear heard a roar, then a cry of pain. He twisted his head at an unnatural angle just to see who had risen. It was his father. "Kill him," He said, "Kill any maggot that managed to survive that explosion." "No!" Bear cried. He flew, and whirlwind of fury and anger, towards Him. That was all Bear saw before he was knocked out.
When Bear awoke he instantly sprang to his feet, ready to fight, to kill the dragon that killed his father, but his head was instantly yanked back down. His jaw hit the floor and he started to bleed. That's when he saw Him. Standing in the corner of Bear's cell. "Now, now. We can't have anyone kill me now can we." He strode across the cell and grabbed Bear by his muzzle. His talons were instantly stained with Bear's blood. "Now tell me little dragonet. How did you survive that explosion."
