Biography

Born to Niflheim and a sorceress, she has only known her father who raised her on his own. From an early age, it wasn't infrequent for her to know things she could not possibly have known, from a wide range of subjects. She may sometimes seem to be a prodigy, this is not the case. What she knows was, through means at the time mysterious and unknown to her, all learned from external sources.

That she would have a power was foretold to her father by a friend, Algol, who among other things, has occasional prophetic knowledge. Although her father is a very quiet person, he still encouraged her, in his own ways, to improve and taught her much of what he knew. He also encouraged her to try to find friends , worrying that their isolated life outside of a small town might be deterimental to her, that he did not want to hold her back.

When she came of an appropriate age, her father suggested that she take Algol as a tutor. If anyone could understand her abilities and help develop them, it would be him. She was reluctant at first yet eventually agreed. Under him, she learned that her power was a kind of communion with the dead, however rather than a direct communication with them, she was tapping into their knowledge. Algol would describe it to her like a hypothetical well where the water that filled it was the collective knowledge the dead possessed, and her ability was the bucket from which she could draw this water. However, the "water" would come to her as riddles and fragments that she must piece together to achieve understanding.

While she now lives on her own, she is still in close vicinity of her father and her teacher, both who continue to share their wisdom with her. She supports herself as a "seer," with visitors coming to her for many reasons in the hopes she can shed light on some matter of importance to them.
