"Come wayward souls, and wander through the darkness..."
The forest found a caretaker in her.
A young guardian, lost and abandoned in the woods, her tears staining her face. The forest saw her, and as the dragon collapsed, it reached out and reshaped her.
Her tears turned to dark sap on her cheeks, her skin turning tough as bark and her body elongating into a shape reminiscent of a tree branch as she became one with the forest. It created a protector. Someone able to defend it.
Her name was unknown, but for the dark sap she secreted, she was named Edelwood.
Edelwood is the 'eldest daughter.' Less of a dragon and more of a spirit of a dragon, she was 'taken in' by Mother.
Nothing will ever harm her now, she can hurt them back...
