Today is the day I begin my adventure. Tyurico has been a great support, and he gave me a scarf to keep me warm and to remember my home by. I'll miss it here, but I'm also very much ready to set out and see the world for myself.

Adventures! Here I come!

On my first stop I came to a water clan dwelling on an island that called themselves the Dawnchasers. It was an interesting place full of trade and all sorts of folks so I stayed there a bit to experience all the city had to offer. While there I met a rather odd skydancer that went by the name Rhosyn and served as manager of foreign relations. He always had these frogs around him and I never once saw him without them in all my time there. He seemed more a nature dragon than a light one to me. Eventually it came time to leave and he gifted me with an odd mechanical cauldron of unknown origin to accompany me in my travels.

'Tis a curious day, for today I find myself back home. For a year I have been away, and yet... Now, as I roam these halls, it feels as if I never left.

I cannot recall how I got here. I cannot recall much of anything from the past half a year, perhaps even longer. My last log entry was in June last year, and yet... I feel as if I have journeyed much farther than my entries indicate.

What has happened? Why can I not remember?

My mother, bless her, is well. My father has moved on to the Tangled Wood where he now serves the Shadowbinder. Mother does not speak of him much, and I sense that she misses him.

Tyurico is also gone. Off to new adventures, I was told. I miss him, the old bugger. I miss him more than I thought I would, and now there is a high chance I might never speak with him again. Perhaps... Perhaps I should go looking for him, perhaps that will be my next goal, rather than seeing the lands. Adventure, I think, might not be for me after all. But if I had a purpose...

I must ponder on this. But for now, I dare not set out again quite yet. Mother, I feel, needs my support, my companionship. I should stay here at least until I am certain that she is feeling better.
