Children of the sorceress and the unwilling seer have little of a childhood. What hatchlings that emerge from the eggs their father steals from the nest and abandons in the Wasteland or begs for passing travellers to take in usually grow up ignorant of their dormant abilities; those that the mother takes in to teach tend to be in touch with their magic and sometimes frighteningly ambitious.

Regardless of their paths, chosen or forced, all are full of potential.

Myfara's mother abandoned the nest as soon as she realised that all five of her children had little to no magical ability. Fortunately, their father managed to ensure that each hatchling would live.

Of course, Myfara knows nothing of this. What she does know, however, here by the stream in the forest she's been hunting in for years now, is that the buck she is tracking is very close by.

She's been hunting for as long as she can remember, having been adopted and raised by a hunter in a small clan on the outskirts of the Labyrinth. Though her eyes glow an unusual, eerie crimson-- the only echo of her roots-- Myfara has never felt more at home in the Gladekeeper's domain.

She doesn't miss the Wasteland; can barely remember it, in fact. It doesn't bother her one bit.
