xxB I O . The greatest tales are the ones left untold. And there's a special song in the unspoken, a heady rhythm, when years of experience culminate into a single moment. The shifting of stance, maybe powerful like their fireblood will or airy like their flowing elegance or solid like the grounds they call home. A stray rib juts up from the ground as a relic of those who've crossed these lands, but they dodge it and weave because they've made the same mistake before and they've learned, they've drank from the rivers of life to hold its taste on their tongues. Their eyes are glazed over and their mouths agape, but their body moves in a practiced, familiar way that they've honed, these veterans of survival. He listens, because battle is a dance that tells a story if you care to pay attention. There's blood on his teeth and it's not his; claws etch runics in the sand beneath them, the air is alive. Fight me, he says, but he means sing with not your voice but your heart and breathe not petty words but the lessons you learn of a lifetime and your life is complex is indescribable is beautiful please show. The dust settles, his opponent now still on their side and their story rings across the barren wasteland, a lullaby for the voiceless made clear in the plague night. But soon the sands sweep it away; he moves on. |

+ He lacks any semblence of wit or manners, and prefers to cut straight to the point rather than carry out a conversation. Most see him as dull, but he isn't; he just sees no point to idle banter.
+ Vyskar is larger and more plumaged than the rest of his wildclaw bethren. There are feathers on his shoulders, his rump, and he has winged forelimbs.
