Biography
Delirium was aware of things before he was out of the egg. Voices whispering, blurred shadows covered in a thin green veil all around him... There were others around him. He wanted to know what the world outside of his current prison was like. The unborn hatchling squirmed and twisted within the shell of his egg until his horn broke through and he was free. Already one of his brothers had broken free and was holding a small pearl. Delirium was quick to do the same but... something seemed wrong. He could still see his brother despite his back being to the nest while at the same time he could see his other siblings and two larger dragons hurrying over.
Eventually, Delirium learned that his special abilities to seeing everything was a rare blessing of magical power. These eyes that covered him was proof he would have great magical potential and could warn him of danger in the area around him. Still, getting used to the ability to see everything around him was difficult to adjust to. He was always getting mixed up on where he was going or what was actually in front of him. The visions that came as he reached adult hood didn't help with this issue. They would strike at random and send the world in front of him spiraling until he couldn't stand. When they ended he'd find himself shaking on the ground with a high fever.
His birth clan sent him away in hope that he'd be better off in a new clan. In a way it helped. The plain landscape of his new Earth flight clan was easier on his eyes than the busy bone and plague filled lands of his birth. However, his visions didn't weaken or stop the burning fever he'd experience. Delirium often stumbles around in confusion afterwards and while his new clanmates help him, he is determined to get better at controlling them. Already he can decipher the meanings behind these warped visions to help guide his clan but with time he hopes he can call upon them at will rather than being at their mercy.
Whatever control he'll ever get over them doesn't matter in the long run to the dragons of his clan. They respect the young dragon and the burden he cares. In time these visions might break his mind for all their power coursing through him or perhaps weaken his physical form from their aftermath but Delirium knows he can depend on his clan to care for him no matter what happens. He trusts them just as they trust him with the warnings and advice he gives. He always will.
