Hatchlings: Dragon Log Born to the first “mated pair” created by Beltane’s unfortunate magical talent for encouraging amorous unions, this Guardian and his siblings seemed to have the fates against them from birth, but it appears that luck is with them after all. Despite the way in which they came together, both this Guardian’s parents are happy to have three sons, and are not neglecting their offspring in any way. The Guardian’s talents—both intellectual and magical—are developing rapidly, and the entire Clan is interested in what he will do as he grows older… 2-14-19: Only hours after birth, this Guardian is already showing an interest in the stars, having been caught no less than five times near the Planetarium entrance. He is absolutely fascinated with the night sky, and has no fear of the dark at all. It appears clear that whatever he may do as he grows older, it will definitely include Astronomy in one way or another. Even his newly bonded familiar, an Aurora Pangolin, is reminiscent of astral phenomenon, in name and looks both… 2-20-19: Now that he has reached adulthood, he has decided to try to find his Charge…only to find himself drawn again and again to the Planetarium and the dragons within… 5-4-19: After moonturns of thinking, and an enlightening chat with his grandmother, Eveningrose, this dragon has finally realized that his name has been staring him in the face the whole time. After all, what else would a Guardian fascinated with both the night sky and between times call himself, if not something that referenced both the most magical time of all, and the largest astronomical body in the sky (not counting the Sun)? Meet MidnightMoon, Caretaker of the Clan's Planetarium! 5-13-19: Starlight, Midnight's Aurora Pangolin companion, has Awakened! Midnight is thrilled for his friend, and eager to see what he will do next. At the moment, though, all Starlight seems interested in doing is cuddling closer to Midnight while sleeping.... |
