You can erase every other aspect of a dragon, wipe their slate completely clean, warp it entirely beyond recognition, and yet you cannot erase the soul! The soul is what makes an individual unique. It's what makes us who we are. Thus, one who can control the soul... is the most powerful individual there is. Oh, gilded angel, so ready to abandon thyself, failing to realize that even when cloaking thyself with the embodiment of thine regrets, the soul betrays to all who thou truly art... Have faith. An enigmatic, charismatic spiral constantly shrouded in bluish-purple mist wherever she goes, although it never obscures her alluring windy-green eyes. She calls herself a "professional shoulder to cry on", going around Sornieth to look for dragons who are going through a rough patch in life or otherwise have some sort of problem so that she can listen to them tell her all of their troubles, especially with regards to other dragons—but beneath this angelic exterior, she's also an assassin who weaponizes the vengeful spirits of those she kills in order to gather more such spirits for herself, up to and including any dragon that gets mentioned to her by her "clients". In particular, she has invented a special method of ghost-collecting where sometimes she simply plants a particularly violent ghost she's collected into a specific area (such as, perhaps, a specter to haunt the local pirate crew), so that the ghost kills more people that trespass upon "its" territory and Rory can collect them whenever she bothers to come back. She's very polite and genuinely kind at heart when she's not doing anything related to killing, though, and to a certain extent she thinks her kills are genuinely helping the world; who will miss, for example, those prickly souls who were sentenced to eternity in the Icewarden's jail for being infected with the Shade?

Partners in crime with George the ghost "hunter", with whom she has a very fulfilling business relationship: Rory makes more ghosts for him to "hunt" so he maintains his audience, and in turn George directs her towards people who might give her more ghosts to collect. One of the many dragon ladies who got their hearts stolen by Krese (though she doesn't particularly like talking about this period of her life much). On the receiving end of a one-sided rivalry with Sanctuary, whom she doesn't particularly care for in turn but loves to watch scramble and squirm like the helpless dog she thinks of him as. Fulgurite also doesn't like her very much, although unlike with Sanctuary she can't quite fathom why...
