B I O G R A P H Y

______ No one knows exactly where Psyche came from originally, but the stench of death she carries with her is enough to foreshadow her passing. All but the most brave will close their doors and shut their curtains, waiting for the beacon of decay to pass on and leave them be. Her existence is the cold, hard evidence for something scholars have debated about for years- the line between life and death is more fluid than it appears.

______ The battle was quick, but hideous - against four mirrors, Psyche should've stood no chance. And yet, she felt nothing from their jaws, and every blow she landed was crippling. The oozing wounds the mirrors received matched her own torn flesh, but she didn't bleed.
It had been the same ever since she awoke in the boneyards, alone among the twisted trees and terrified mutant rodents. No matter how often she tried or how far she traveled, she couldn't remember why she had ended up in that dismal place. She couldn't remember how she had lost her heartbeat or her mind.
And yet, the voice in her head carried her on, a sweet and cooing tone that wouldn't let her rest for long. It told her that the answer was out there. If she would only keep looking, she'd remember who she had been, and why this had happened. But it was always around other dragons that the sickness started again.
She swore to herself not to involve others again. If possible, she'd find the answers on her own. And if it was impossible, she'd find death where no one else would be hurt..
