If Carina- or rather, the Carinas- are the brains of the organization, then Airell is the heart. Over the decades, Carina has occasionally begun to show a cold ruthlessness that Airell really doesn't like; although he wouldn't wish NC administration duties upon his worst enemies, he does feel a sense of responsibility and duty that prevents him from withdrawing entirely. He isn't a natural-born leader or a genius like Carina. But he can be the angel on her shoulder.
History nerd who spends a concerning amount of time in the attic of the library, where he has a small and dusty ‘office’. Formerly thought to be mute, and still prefers to write rather than speak. This is also, like, his third time narrowly avoiding death. He’s a lot tougher than he looks. Once on a patrol when he and Carina were still young, once during the first containment breach, once in an explosion suspected to have been the work of sabotage that left him scarred and blind in one eye.
Was born a fae, and still has the vast magic reserves to match.
