You walk deep into the bamboo groves, and start to notice something odd. Where once the bamboo was sparse, growing in small bowers to funnel and catch wind for the Scribes, it now grows densely and maze-like around you. As you continue down the paths you start to notice colorful miniature chimes tied to the bamboo. Tied to each little chime is a piece of parchment. You reach for a bright green chime and loosen the parchment…

“That’s actually one of mine…” a soft, sorrowful voice murmured.
You turn your head towards the source of the voice, a delicate yet vibrant Skydancer that had just turned onto the path you were on. He starts at your motion, and seems a bit flustered by your attention. Thinking he is worried for the poem, you carefully tie the parchment back to the chime. The Skydancer gets more distressed. “Oh!” He says hurriedly, “You…umm, I mean, feel free! To read them! That’s…. What they are there for....” He trails off. It seems he doesn’t talk to other dragons often, but it also seems he has more to say. You wait patiently for him to gather his thoughts and try again. “It’s poetry… from everywhere.” He explains. “The light green, that’s us, the Windswept Platau, and dark blue, that’s The Sea of A Thousand Currents, and, and, the red, that’s the Scarred Wasteland…” He pauses, and blushes. “But… that’s probably obvious…” He grows quiet, and you close your eyes to focus on the chimes around you. So many feelings, so many small voices, all of Sornieth… So many dragons voicing their joys, their sorrows, their thoughts, their desires. You let it wash over you. Opening your eyes, you see Onibi, The Poet Scribe, looking at you excitedly. “You see it! You hear it! Every dragon has a Poet inside, desperate to tell the truth of themselves! It doesn’t matter what species you are, or what Flight you belong to, or even if your poetry is not a masterpiece… Your Poetry, Your Heart, Your Truth… Will always find another Heart to belong in!”
