- A consciousness, a creature of the hivemind. Dangerous, brilliantly intelligent, and coldly determined.
- Not defective, but certainly unusual in their methods. Prefers to blend in among dragonkind rather than assimilating or destroying them outright. Utilizes false dragons extensively, taking the places of influential dragons throughout the Wharf and beyond. Their eyes are everywhere.
- Has a penchant for squeezing every drop of usefulness out of things in their path. Prefers to manipulate their enemies to their own benefit rather than simply terminating them. They still view dragons as enemies, obstacles, and cattle, like any consciousness, but know that dragons can still be useful, and take wicked delight in making dragonkind do their work for them.
- One of the wealthiest creatures on Sorneith. Took over Madarthi's trading empire in a backhanded scheme involving replacing almost all of the warring merchant-lords in the Wharf. Uses their money to buy influence.
- One of their primary traits is ego. They do not believe themselves to be perfect and infallible; rather, they think that their intelligence, strength, and power (in other words: their very nature, birthright) entitles them to nice things. They lavish themselves with ostentatious luxuries simply because they can.
- Their personal chambers within their own hives are decorated with master-crafted artwork and architecture, and their hives - even the regions intended for simple working drones - are constructed with careful elegance and refinement. They make a habit of wearing fine jewelry and clothing.
- Collect things that they consider beautiful, including both inanimate objects and living creatures. They particularly enjoy collecting dragons; forcing a dragon to bend to their will vindicates their feelings of superiority and entitlement to power. In particular, they enjoy assimilating or partially assimilating dragons, transforming them into false dragons whose beauty is preserved and whose minds are wiped and replaced with an undying, fervent, obsessive love for them.
