Kria is a monster hunter who has only one goal: to become the strongest. She slays other monsters to prove her worth to the world and hates appearing weak. Slaying monsters comes quite easily to her as well, with her non-dragon strength and shapeshifting powers.

- cautious and very slow to trust
- feared by others; fearful of others
- can be quite violent when fighting
- not part of the clan; friends with Phoenix, though (fellow non-dragon)
- feels intimidated by everything larger than herself
- is a shapeshifter; true form is a monstrous sea serpent
- when highly stressed or scared, she reveals her true form (to look bigger and scare others away)
- often drawn to fight larger creatures to prove that she's stronger
- doesn't like appearing weak
- obsessed with becoming the strongest
- favors Arcane and Water ocean territories
- does speak but her speech is pretty incomplete and broken
»[Kria & Phoenix]«
Phoenix was the only one to approach her and show her compassion in a time of need. Kria had been severely injured in a fight against a two-headed monster and fled to Arcane waters to hide. The eldritch being brought supplies back from her clan tower to help. It takes one monster to understand another. That night, she learned that she wasn't alone in this world.

But Kria can't help but feel that it was wrong to label her a "monster," too. Though a bit strange, Phoenix was too kind to be someone like her. She was not a monster, but a "friend." The only one Kria is willing to trust out here in Sornieth.

All her life, Kria has done nothing but fight for her survival and worth. Now, she finds herself curious of Phoenix's life as a clan dragon.

Once in a while, Kria leaves the comfort of the ocean depths to travel up to the floating islands in her Guardian dragon form. She only visits the tower to see Phoenix and avoids the rest of the clan.

Children--if they can be called that-- of the shapeshifter and the sea serpent are solitary creatures who enjoy lurking in the deepest, darkest depths of the ocean. A modest-sized lake will do in a pinch, maybe a large pond if one is desperate, or a decent fountain if needs must.

Of course, it's a little disconcerting when your local pool has been laid claim to by an eldritch being, however young it is supposed to be, but most clans seem to cope just fine.

Still. You should watch your fingers.

Kria escapes from the deep underground lake of water that her parents call home, eventually twisting and spiraling her through one of the many small tunnels leading to the open sea.

It's a while before the food chain finds a place for her-- Sornieth is so full of creatures of every shape, size and savagery that it only makes sense that its oceans are, too.

She leaves blood and scattered bone in her wake. There's only one place in the chain for young, vicious Kria-- the top.
