Verigost's work is his life. As the sole record keeper of Morcsbury, he has very little time to spend on making small talk with other dragons, usually found without fail in Morcsbury's archival levels, working by candlelight to keep all the books up to date and to review supply reports. And, if the situation calls for it, send someone to deal with some problem dragons.

Were he the ambitious type, Verigost could've wrest control from Dumorc with very little struggle long ago. However, though he finds the Imperial grating at times, he's worked with the dragon since before he rose to power, and he much prefers working in the background of the group's operations anyways. The musty smell of the countless books and scrolls are familiar and the pressing underground walls are almost a comfort. Being the mystery of Morcsbury's success rather than the face of it is perfect for him.
