Biography
You found a large scroll with an ornamental metal ring placed around the middle. A closer look reveals a fae-shaped, heavily decorated and gem-inlaid piece of intricate art. As you pull the onyx dragon-shaped ring off the scroll, you almost think you felt it shudder a bit in your hand. Looking at it again, you're pretty sure it hasn't actually moved. When you set it down to free your hand for unwinding this scroll, you hear the sturdy clunk of solid metal making contact with the tabletop...
Occasionally, the light dancing off of the gem wings catches your eye as you read the scroll.
The scroll turns out to be a bit boring, and is titled "Rules, of Sorts." The handwriting is atrocious.
